​Rifle: On Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, at 0900, five rifle shooters met at our range to fire the regular weekly rifle match.  The temperature was 36 with 76% humidity, cloudy skies with some sun at times, and a strong gusty wind.  It was 40 with 96% humidity by the end.  Course of fire is 10 shots slow fire prone, 10 shots rapid fire prone, 10 shots slow fire standing.
                       
The following fired rifles that are used in the CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) course of fire and are in the medal score category:  High Score was Dave Spearing.  He had a CMP bronze medal score.  He fired a .30 cal. US M1903-A3 and scored 93-2X’s+95-2X’s+84=272-4X’s.  John Bay fired a .30 cal. US M1903-A3 and scored 88-1X+88-1X+73=249-2X’s.  Chuck Chernoff fired a .30 cal. US M1903-A3 and scored 86+90-1X+66=242-1X.

The following fired other rifles:  High Score was Gil Holm.  He fired a .22 cal. rimfire with a scope and scored 98-3X’s+98-3X’s+87-1X=283-7X’s.  Chuck Cargile fired a .22 cal. Rimfire and scored 81+61+75=217.

After the match, four went to the excellent Willow Glen Café for beverages. Lynn served drinks, Dave Spearing paid the tab every one thanks them all.

Rifle: On Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at 0900, five rifle shooters met at our range to fire the regular weekly rifle match.  The temperature was 36, with 94% humidity, gray overcast skies and no wind.  It was 38 with 80% humidity by the end.  Course of fire is 10 shots slow fire prone, 10 shots rapid fire prone, 10 shots slow fire standing.
                    
The following fired rifles that are used in the CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) course of fire and are in the medal score category:  High Score was Dave Spearing.  He had a CMP bronze medal score.  He fired a 7.5X55 K31 Swiss and scored 96-3X’s+93-1X+76=265-4X’s.  Bill Volcko fired a .30 cal. M1 Garand and scored 92-2X’s+87+81=260-2X’s.  John Bay fired a .30 cal. US M1903-A3 and scored 92-1X+85+73-1X=250-2X’s.
 
The following fired other rifles:  High Score was Gil Holm.  He fired a .22 cal. rimfire with a scope and scored 100-3X’s+97-3X’s+91-1X=288-7X’s.  Chuck Cargile fired a .17 cal. Hornet with a scope and scored 98-4X’s+96-2X’s+67-1X=261-7X’s.
 
After the match, five went to the excellent Willow Glen Café for beverages. Dick Cyphers joined us. Bill Volcko paid the tab every one thanks them all.

The temperature was 37 and 78% humidity gray cloudy skies and a cold light breeze. It was 37 with 78% humidity by the end. Course of fire is 10 shots slow fire prone, 10 shots rapid fire prone, 10 shots slow fire standing.
                       
The following fired rifles that are used in the CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) course of fire and are in the medal score category:  High Score was Dave spearing he had a CMP bronze medal score. He fired a .30 cal. M1 Garand and scored 95+85-1X+86-2X’s=266-3X’s. Bill Volcko fired a .30 cal. M1 Garand and scored 89+83+77=249.

The following fired other rifles:  High Score was Gil Holm he fired a .22 cal. rimfire with a scope and scored 95+95-2X’s+69=259-2X’s.

After the match, no one went to the Willow Glen Café for beverages.
